I've been using Abreve for years for occasional cold sore flare-ups and was annoyed at the difficulty of squeezing out the last quarter of the medication from the tube. This new dispenser is fantastic! Very easy to press and use. You just need to be sure to press gently to control the amount you dispense - you only need a little to apply to a sore. If you press too hard, you'll have way too much on your finger. It's definitely worth the extra expense to get this version of the product

I have suffered with cold sores since I was a child. In all the years, Abreva is the best and most effective treatment I have ever had. I feel it works as well as cold sore medication under prescription.
